Spot Check

Just drip one drop of oil on SPOT CHECK paper and let it dry out. The oil flows through the capillars of the chromatographic paper and the picture of the resulting spot will indicate:

• degree of contimination
• presence of water or fuel
• remaining detergent-dispersive power (for compounding lubricating oils)

Although Spot Check does not substitute for a laboratorical oil analysis, it is quick and cost efficient.

And it may in time give valueable indications on irregularities and impending malfunction of an engine, saving the trouble and the cost of avoidable down-times and repairs.
