The East Med Marine and Offshore Exhibition is the most prestigious technical trade fair in the Eastern Mediterranean, tailored to the needs of the shipping industry. The biennial event will take place on the 24th and 25th of April 2025, in Limassol Cyprus.

Thanks to its exceptional format and ideal location, the exhibition brings together professionals from the marine and offshore sectors and offers an outstanding opportunity to exchange ideas, learn about the latest developments in the industry and showcase technological innovations.

Martechnic is delighted to participate again this year and looks forward to welcoming visitors at Booth 50.

We will be presenting our brand new, award-winning test device MT COOLANT CHECK which offers chemical-free and environmentally friendly assessment of the engine coolant quality. The sustainable test method is based on electrotechnical apparatus with specialized steel and stainless-steel electrodes to simulate an engine cooling system. The water-based coolants are analysed with just one measurement through a single coolant sample. The results (determination of remaining corrosion protection of the engine coolant in use) are delivered in just 15 minutes. Providing precise maintenance recommendations, the unnecessary coolant changes can be prevented. Thereby, the ship operators can implement more efficient maintenance schedule while supporting their environmental commitments.

Martechnic will also unveil its new test kit MT UREA CHECK. The test kit is designed for regular on-board quality monitoring of urea-based marine diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) AUS 40. A prompt on-board assessment is conducted in accordance with ISO 18611-1:2014 and helps to determine the following possible error sources:

  1. Technical deviating specifications
  2. Thermal instability (shelf life)
  3. Dilution (possibly chemical contamination)
