Martechnic Supports Environmental Organizations “WWF” and “Clean River Project” with Christmas Donat

Martechnic will be exhibiting as a part of a shared meeting area of the German Pavilion at Hall 7, Booth 7015. We will be sharing our strong expertise of over 25 years in on-site condition monitoring of fuel, lube and hydraulic oil and showcasing our products for easy on-board testing & analysis (portable test devices and test kits, intelligent sensor technology etc.). Our precise testing equipment helps engineers and maintenance personnel to directly assess oil health and condition and to support the vessel’s optimal, reliable and cost-effective operation by making well-informed condition-based maintenance decisions.

At Europort Martechnic will be introducing its innovative, patent pending test device MT COOLANT CHECK designed for routine assessment of the engine coolant quality in the global shipping sector and beyond. Instead of a full-scale conventional chemical analysis of individual coolant parameters, the novel measurement method of the MT COOLANT CHECK offers a non-chemical and environmentally friendly engine coolant analysis by means of an electrotechnical apparatus with constant (corrosion resistant) and working/changeable (corrosion-prone) electrodes in a simulated cooling system. Both electrodes are subjected to corrosion stress by applying electrical voltage, and the performance of the engine coolant is characterized in relation to its existing level of corrosion protection with the new unit of measurement: “MT unit” (“Lagner”).
