The condition of fluids and lubricants designed for high performance engines should be regularly monitored due to high operating temperatures, high workload and therefore a risk of oil oxidation, corrosion and sludge formation. The COOLANT AND LUBE OIL TEST KIT enables measurement of eight different parameters of cooling liquids and lubricants: the content of water in oil, fresh water hardness, chlorides, pH value of fluids as well as to estimate current viscosity, engine oil dispersing capability, antifreeze capacity and effectiveness of corrosion inhibitor. Proper lubrication, optimal maintenance intervals and a reliable protection of engine components can be thus ensured.
