Role Description
The Sales & Logistics Specialist’s primary duties include issuing and following up on quotes, processing orders, coordinating logistics and shipping organization. Among other responsibilities are general clerical and administrative tasks such as answering the phone and responding to emails.
This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Role Responsibilities:
- Create and manage orders – from the first offer/ quotation to processing order shipment
- Provide support and advise new and existing customers worldwide on the phone or via email
- Respond to all questions relating to shipping, including dangerous goods transport and customs issues
Role Requirements:
- Completed training in a commercial or logistical profession or a comparable qualification
- Several years of work experience in logistics
- Ideally work experience in the maritime industry and familiarity with the practices and customs of the industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both German and English
- Proficient MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Sound knowledge of general office administrative procedures and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment

- High level of accuracy, strong attention to details with focus on work results
- Willingness to actively participate in existing structures of a small, owner-managed business
